Mauna Lani Point

I was a little hesitant when trying to find a place to stay in Hawai’i after our disastrous condo in Kauai’i then I found out that Classic Resorts has properties on The Big Island, and the hesitation went away. Classic Resorts manages the condo we always stay at, Ka’anapali Alii, when we’re in Maui. Classic Resorts holds all of their properties to the highest standards which in turn gives you the best of two worlds, the amenities and services of a resort hotel with the privacy and space of home without extra resort fees. CR manages 3 properties on the Big Island-Champion Ridge at Mauna Lani,  Mauna Lani Point, and The Islands at Mauna Lani. We chose Mauna Lani Point.

Has 3,200 acres of land nestled In the Kohala Coast. Here you can find all 3 properties, 2 championship golf courses, an exclusive beach club, a general store, restaurants, and The Shops at Mauna Lani, just to name a few amenities.

Is the only oceanfront condos within Mauna Lani Resort. In this gated community, you can choose from one, two, or three bedroom condos, offering you anywhere from 1,100-2,000 square feet of space and privacy. Apart from the condo, you get to enjoy all of the amenities of Mauna Lani Resort mentioned above. You also get access to Mauna Lani Point Beach Club which is located on a secluded white sand beach plus the restaurant and bar, plus the entertainment pavilion which has a full kitchen and barbecues. There is a cool feature on their website where you can select your condo. Just click the link, and you can preview condos, whether you are looking for a one or two bedroom with an ocean view or a two or three bedroom with a signature hole ocean view.

We actually did the select your condo option and chose C104. This particular condo is on the first floor, it’s 1,700 square feet and had a fantastic view of the Pacific Ocean, and part of the golf course. This condo sleeps 6, with a king bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the guest room and the living room has a sofa bed. The condo also comes with a designated parking spot in the small lot for this cluster of condos, so you don’t need to worry about finding a parking spot. The condo was clean, the kitchen was fully equipped with almost everything we would need if we decided to cook there, the decor was nice and straightforward, the bathrooms needed updating but were clean, so that is all that mattered to me. We didn’t spend much time in the condo as we had a full itinerary for our limited time on Hawai’i before we were off to Maui, but the time we did spend in the condo I enjoyed.

The property is enormous and spread out, we were here for 3 1/2 days and maybe saw a handful of people. Because the property is so spread out, we didn’t see much of it. My dad and sister did drive down to the Beach Club and walked around a bit. They do have a free shuttle that will take you around the property, that’s how spread out these condos are. The property was beautiful though, the view we had from the condo won me over. When we come back to Hawai’i, I would definitely want to stay here again.

Have you stayed at Maua Lani Point? If you have visited Hawai’i where did you stay? Let me know in the comments! Mahalo for reading xo
